Green Seasoning Tutorial

Ingredients:

1 bundle of Parsley

1 Large Onion

1 whole Garlic head

1 pack of Celery

2 Red Hot peppers

1 bunch of Fresh thyme

4 packs of Green Chinese onion

1 small piece of ginger

Appliance of choice

Blender 

Chopper

Food processor

Vegetables Prep

Wash all vegetables under cool running water.

  1. Cut red hot peppers and remove seeds

  2. Remove thyme from stem

  3. Pill and Cut onion into 4 large pieces

  4. Remove celery leaves from stem

  5. Cut off small piece from head of Chinese onions and cut into long pieces

  6. Cut ginger into 2 pieces

Green Seasoning Prep

Place all ingredients into your appliance

and add 1/3 cup of water.

Blend all ingredients into a paste or puree.

Place mixture in a glass jar and add

2 sprinkles of salt.

Shake bottle to spread salt evenly.

Salt is added to preserve seasoning longer.

I use this seasoning to give my seafood, meat, vegetables, eggs, breakfast, etc more flavor. This seasoning will cost you less than $10 to make and everything can be found at your local grocery store. If well refrigerated in a tightly sealed container, this seasoning will be great for up to a month.

Side Note

I highly recommend investing in glass jars to ensure a long lasting flavor.
