Curry Chicken
Ingredients
1 pack of Chicken wings, drumsticks or thighs
2 potatoes diced in (small cubes)
3 tablespoons of mild curry powder
*I recommend using Chief Curry.*
3 dash of garlic powder sprinkled
3-4 dash of onion powder
3 dash of allground seasoning
1/2 onion
1 hand full of parsley
4-5 finely chopped Green onions
The 3 above ingredients can be substituted with 2 tbs of green seasoning
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
Seasoned salt/meat seasoning to taste
2 dash of allground seasoning (optional for additional flavor)
Preparation
Prep chicken by using step by step
tutorial below.
Additional step to prep
Add 1 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder
Mix until curry is spread evenly throughout
the chicken
Remove from refrigerator 30 mn before cooking.
In a small glass bowl add 2-3 tsp of curry powder and 2-3 tbs of water, mix to form a slight paste and set aside
Dice 2 potatoes and place in a bowl of cold tap water to prevent discoloration.
Cooking
Heat oil in large skillet
Add onions, parsley, green onions and simmer
(#2 can be substituted with 3 tablespoons of green seasoning)
Add curry mixture and stir on low heat
Add marinated chicken stir and let it simmer for 10minutes
Add potatoes and mix cook for 15 minutes
Add warm water to cover chicken and potatoes
Cook for 25-30 minute until gravy is thick and potatoes are soft to the touch.
Taste by pouring a small amount of gravy in the palm of your hand whiles curry is still cooking.
Add extra seasoning salt to your taste.
Serve with White Rice.
