AUNTIE ANNE'S AT HOME SOFT PRETZEL REVIEW
Auntie Anne’s kiosk at the mall is my go-to spot at the mall. I loved to dip my pretzels in the yummy creamy glaze. So I was in my local grocery store walking towards the freezer that contained the veggie burgers. My eyes spotted this box of Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzel. I wasn’t aware that it was sold at the grocery store. I had to grab a box, although I wondered if it would taste the same as a fresh pretzel from the kiosk.
Once I got home, I opened the box. It came with a
few pre-cooked pretzels similar to the size of
the ones found at the kiosks and a small pack of salt
to sprinkle on the pretzel. There was no glaze in the
box. The glaze is the most important topping in my
opinion. I would have rather have the glaze instead of
the salt. I actually do not like salted pretzels. It is not
an Auntie Ann’s pretzel without the glaze.
There were 2 options to heat them up, one was
microwave and the other in the oven. I tried both
options of course the microwave was quicker.
Since I could not eat it without the glaze, I found a
great quick recipe on youtube which came out
delicious and creamy. It wasn’t as good as Auntie
Ann’s but it was good enough.
I would say that the pretzels were soft and delicious
with the homemade glaze. It was not the same
experience as the freshly baked ones at the Auntie
Ann’s Kiosks.
Overall there were good, but they would be better if
the glaze was included in the box.
Comment of the day:
Have you guys ever had Auntie Ann’s Pretzels in the
box or at the Kiosks?
