HAMILTON BEACH ELECTRIC CAN OPENER REVIEW
I prefer using the electric can opener because it is easier to use. The manual can opener often gets stuck especially if the can has a dent. My hands often hurt whenever I use the manual iron can opener. I personally feel that I put in more labor, and sometimes it's a struggle.
I love this can opener because of its multifunctions.
This is not an ordinary electric can opener. I know
that most of us prefer or still have the manual can
opener in our kitchen.
This "Hamilton Beach Electric Can Opener" has a
lever which encloses a short blade and a magnet that
grips onto the top of the can. It is also dishwasher
safe.
The body has a pin that guides the can along with a
small roulette that rotates the can. The back of this
Hamilton Beach opener has two extra features.
One is a small lower compartment where you can
store the power cord when you are not
using the can opener. The second feature is a small
knife sharpener.
To open my can I first had to attach the magnet on
top of the can. Then I pulled the lever down which
brought down the blade onto the edge of the can.
The can opener slowly cuts open the can while
rotating it at the same time
The "Hamilton Beach Can Opener" continues to
rotate the can until the top of the can is completely
off. It automatically stops once the can is opened.
When it stopped rotating the can, to my surprise it
did not drop the can. The top of the can stays
attached to the magnet and it has to be removed
manually.
I always rinse the can opener blade with some cool
water and a small amount of dish detergent.
I always make sure to dry it thoroughly and attach it
back onto the can opener.
Pros and Cons:
It is very easy to use
It also is a time and energy-saving kitchen appliance
This "Hamilton Beach Electric Can Opener" has a
rust free roulette which rotates the can.
Cons
When I used it to open a can of tuna fish, I had to hold
the can once it was open. It is a little challenging to
open smaller cans.
The manual can opener's roulette rust only after a
few washes. When I used it to open a can of tuna fish,
I had to hold the can once it was open
Now I still keep a manual can opener as a back up in
case of a malfunction of my "Hamilton Beach Electric
Can Opener." So far I have not had any issues that
required the usage of my manual can opener.
Question of the day:

can opener?
