STEAM SHRIMP TUTORIAL/RECIPE





Ingredients:
  • 2 bags of cooked shrimps


1 sprinkle of fish seasoning

1 sprinkle of garlic salt (optional)





2 tbsp of green seasoning








Vinegar/lemon juice




3 pinches of Louisiana Barbecue Shrimp Sauce Mix 


















1 tablespoon of olive oil/vegetable oil



  • 1/2 -1 cup of water




1 pack of Caribbean Citrus Seafood Marinade mix



How to Marinade
  1. Remove shrimp from packaging and place in a bowl
  2. Add lemon juice/vinegar with 1 cup of water or enough to cover the shrimp.
  3. Soak in solution for 15min
  4. Drain lemon solution and rinse with cool water and drain.
  5. Add green seasoning
  6. Add all the other ingredients except for the olive oil
  7. Marinade overnight in refrigerator for next day cooking or for 1hour for same day cooking.



Cooking



  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet
  2. Add marinated shrimp and stir
  3. Saute for 10-15minutes until slightly brown
  4. If gravy is desired, add liquid from marinate or 1/2 cup of water and let it steam for 2-5 additional minutes
  5. Remove from heat and serve with white/brown rice.
