Easy Turkey Wings Recipe
Today I’m going to show how I create this turkey wings dish without baking them. This is one of my favorite homemade turkey recipes. You can also create this dish with your leftover turkey wings. This is the only way that my daughter would eat turkey wings.
You will need:
1 pack of pre-cut turkey wings
Garlic Scallion seasoning
Allspice seasoning
Seasoning salt
Meat tenderizer
Dried thyme
Browning sauce
Smoke sauce
Green seasoning
Prep:
Remove the wings from the package
Use a knife or a pair of kitchen scissors
to cut the excess skin on the end of the wings
Then presoak them in a bowl
of cool water and vinegar solution
Remove them from the solution
and rinse them under cool water
Place them back into a clean bowl
Marinade:
Lightly sprinkle some seasoning salt
to both sides of the turkey wing pieces
Cover them with some poultry seasoning
Do the same with the scallion seasoning
Lightly sprinkle some allspice seasoning
Sprinkle some meat tenderizer which will also help
soften the meat and make it fall off the bone
Sprinkle some dried thyme to your taste
Add 4 teaspoons of green seasoning
Use your clean fingers to massage
all the spices and green seasoning into the wings
Allow the wings to marinade by setting the bowl aside
Finely chop 3 green onions, ¼ piece of red bell pepper,
¼ piece of onion and a few garlic cloves
1 Celery stick (optional)
Cooking
Preheat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
in a pressure cooker pot
Add 1/2 of the chopped vegetables and stir
Cook on medium until they are translucent
Add the marinated wings to the pot one at a time
Add 1 1/3 teaspoon of browning
which would give each piece a beautiful brown tint
Add ½ of a teaspoon of smoke sauce
which would give them a smokey taste
Use a spatula to mix the vegetables
with your turkey wings
And it will also mix the two sauces
evenly onto each pieces of wings
It would give the wings a beautiful brown tint
Add warm water to the fill line
located inside of your pressure cooker
Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes
Once they are cooked, shred the turkey meat
By removing the skin and the bones
and place it in a bowl
Preheat ½ -1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
in a skillet
You will need:
Some garlic salt
And the other half of the chopped vegetables
You can also choose to use some
additional frozen chopped or fresh vegetables
Add the vegetables to the turkey and
lightly sprinkle a small pinch of garlic salt ( optional)
Mix all the ingredients
Add to pan and stir
Cook on low heat for 3-5 minutes
Serve with rice of your choice
