PRESTO POPLITE POPCORN MAKER REVIEW

Whiles shopping in the appliance aisle, i came across this electric popcorn maker. The price was right and it had good features so I decided to purchase it. I am going to use it for game nights and movie nights.
It is very light weight and has four compartments:
  • The body/base
It has an inner line for the corn measurement and also small vents for the hot hair.
  • The Chute which is already attached to the base
It helps in aiming the popcorn in one direction
  • The cover
Also help in aiming the popcorn directly into the bowl
  • The Measuring cup/butter cup
Is used to measure the corn and also to melt the butter.

Direction:
Measure 1 cup of corn (do not overfull) and pour it into the base
Place the cover on the chute
Place measuring cup in the place providing on the cover
Place a large bowl under the chute
Plug the popcorn maker and watch the corn turn into popcorn as the hot air blows through the vents in the base.
It takes about 2.5 minutes
Makes 6-8 cups of popcorn

How to melt the butter:
Place 1-2 pieces of room temperature butter in the cup
Place it in the place provided on the cover before starting the popcorn.

Pros:
No radiation uses hot air
No oil or grease so no cholesterol
Less sodium
Cost
Cost effective

Cons:
Butter did not melt by the time popcorn was finished. I used low sodium popcorn seasoning.
Cord is too short. It needs to be longer.

Overall:
I love my popcorn maker. I can have popcorn as a healthy snack. I believe in reducing radiation in my diet. I know most of you will just pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave. The downside to that is if you do not set the right time some if not all of the popcorn will burn.

Hope you enjoy as much as I do if you decide to purchase it! A must have!
